Hawai’i, Hawaii, USA

Chad Wiggins fell for the ocean the moment he slipped on a mask and spotted tiny fish swirling around his parents’ toes. Summers spent chasing adventure along the coasts and bayous of Bear Point, Alabama sparked a lifelong mission to protect the underwater world. Now, as Hawai‘i Island Marine Program Director for The Nature Conservancy, he uses his University of Hawai‘i at Hilo degree to back community-led conservation and defend Hawai‘i’s coral reefs. Lucky to do what he loves, Chad is all in on keeping these wild, colorful places alive for generations to come.
